The HP Color LaserJet Pro M177 MFP was introduced in October 2013, with print speeds OEM-rated at 17 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome and 4 ppm for color printing. The M176 MFP followed in November 2013 with print speeds of 16 ppm for monochrome and 4 ppm for color printing. Duty cycles for both were rated at 20,000 pages per month.

The standard supplies set for both models is made up of four toner cartridges yielding 1,000 pages for color and 1,300 pages for black, along with a separate drum unit yielding 14,000 pages. Toner cartridges and the drum unit require a chip for correct printer operation.

HP Color LaserJet Pro M177 MFP
